Check your vehicle’s owner’s manual for the exact traction control procedure
Locate the traction control button, usually marked TCS, ESC, ESP, or a car with skid marks
Press the button once to disable traction control
Press and hold the button if your vehicle requires a longer press to fully turn it off
Use the vehicle settings menu on the dashboard or infotainment screen if there is no physical button
Confirm the traction control indicator light appears on the dashboard
Restart the vehicle if the system does not turn off after using the button or menu
Turn the system back on when you are finished driving in conditions that require it
