Wash and peel the potatoes if desired
Cut the potatoes into even fry shapes
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 20 to 30 minutes
Drain and dry the potatoes thoroughly
Toss the potatoes with a little oil and salt
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F to 400°F
Place the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket
Cook for 15 to 20 minutes
Shake the basket halfway through cooking
Cook in batches if needed
Remove when golden and crisp
Season immediately and serve
