Place the cursor on the empty page
Press Backspace or Delete
Show formatting marks with Ctrl+Shift+8
Remove extra paragraph marks
Remove page breaks
Remove section breaks
Check for tables at the end of the document
Reduce the font size of the final paragraph to 1 pt
Set the final paragraph spacing to 0
Save the document and check the page again
