How To Tell If A Graph Is A Function?

Use the vertical line test

If any vertical line intersects the graph at more than one point, it is not a function

If every vertical line intersects the graph at most once, it is a function

Check whether each input x has only one output y

If one x-value is paired with more than one y-value, it is not a function
