Find cats in villages, woodland areas, or near structures
Collect food: raw cod, raw salmon, or cooked chicken (any of these)
Approach the cat slowly and hold the food in your hand
Right-click (Java) or tap/use (Bedrock) the cat with the food to feed it
Wait for the cat to show hearts and become tame
Repeat feeding if the cat does not become tame yet
Ensure you are holding the correct food item while taming
After taming, the cat will follow you and sit when you approach it
