Cut the elastic cord to the desired length
Thread the beads onto the elastic
Hold both ends of the cord together
Tie a simple overhand knot
Tie a second overhand knot over the first knot
Pull the knot tight
Add a drop of jewelry glue if desired
Trim the excess cord close to the knot
Tuck the knot into a bead if possible
Let the glue dry before wearing
