Keep your highest tile in one corner
Build the board around that corner
Use only two primary directions most of the time
Avoid moving the high-tile corner unless necessary
Keep tiles ordered from largest near the corner to smallest away from it
Merge tiles in a controlled chain rather than randomly
Preserve empty spaces as long as possible
Prefer moves that keep the board stable
Do not fill the row or column containing your highest tile unless it helps a merge
Plan several moves ahead
Avoid creating isolated tiles
Use the third direction only when it improves the board
Use the fourth direction as little as possible
Prioritize merges that open space
Keep the board flexible for incoming tiles
If the board becomes crowded, focus on survival and space creation
Repeat a consistent strategy instead of reacting impulsively
