Get diamond or netherite armor, a strong sword, a bow, and plenty of arrows
Bring a pickaxe, blocks, water buckets, food, and a shield
Bring at least one carved pumpkin or avoid looking at Endermen
Bring slow falling potions if possible
Bring healing potions and golden apples
Sleep in a bed before entering the End to set your spawn
Enter the End through the stronghold portal
Destroy the end crystals on top of the obsidian pillars
Use a bow to shoot crystals you can reach from the ground
Build up carefully to the taller pillars and break the caged crystals
Avoid the dragon’s fire breath and purple clouds
Hit the dragon only when it lands on the center portal or flies close enough
Use a sword or axe for close-range damage
Use a bow to damage the dragon while it is flying
Watch for Endermen and avoid staring at them
Keep moving to avoid the dragon’s charge attacks
Use water buckets or blocks to reduce fall damage
Repeat until the dragon’s health reaches zero
Collect the experience and the dragon egg after the fight
