Unplug the fan
Remove the front grille or cover
Take off the fan blade if the model allows it
Wipe loose dust from the grille, blade, and housing with a dry microfiber cloth
Use a vacuum with a brush attachment to remove dust from vents and tight areas
Wash removable parts with warm water and mild soap
Rinse and dry all washable parts completely
Clean the motor housing with a slightly damp cloth only
Do not let water enter the motor or electrical parts
Use a soft brush or cotton swab for stubborn dust buildup
Reassemble the fan only after all parts are fully dry
Plug it back in and test it on a low setting
Clean the fan regularly to prevent dust buildup
