Place chicken breasts in the Instant Pot
Add 1 cup water or chicken broth
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and desired spices
Close the lid and set the valve to sealing
Cook on High Pressure for 8 to 10 minutes for fresh chicken breasts
Cook on High Pressure for 10 to 12 minutes for frozen chicken breasts
Let pressure release naturally for 5 minutes
Quick release any remaining pressure
Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F
Remove and rest the chicken for a few minutes before slicing
