To copy, select the text, file, or item you want
Press Ctrl + C on Windows or Command + C on Mac
To paste, place the cursor where you want the item
Press Ctrl + V on Windows or Command + V on Mac
To cut instead of copy, press Ctrl + X on Windows or Command + X on Mac
You can also right-click the selected item and choose Copy
You can also right-click where you want to paste and choose Paste
On some laptops, you may need to use the Fn key with certain shortcuts
You can paste copied content into documents, folders, emails, and text boxes
