Sort through the blueberries and remove any stems, leaves, or damaged berries
Rinse the blueberries gently under cold water
Drain the berries well
Pat the blueberries completely dry with a clean towel or paper towels
Spread the blueberries in a single layer on a baking sheet
Place the baking sheet in the freezer until the berries are firm
Transfer the frozen blueberries to airtight freezer bags or containers
Remove as much air as possible before sealing
Label the container with the date
Store in the freezer until ready to use
