Visit the official NSDL Protean or UTIITSL PAN correction portal
Select the PAN card correction/update option
Enter your PAN number and personal details
Choose the field to be corrected, such as name
Enter the correct name exactly as per supporting documents
Upload valid proof of identity and proof of name change, if required
Submit the application form
Pay the applicable correction fee
Save the acknowledgment number
Print and sign the acknowledgment form, if required
Send the signed acknowledgment and documents to the specified address, if applicable
Track the application status online using the acknowledgment number
Receive the updated PAN card after verification and approval
