How To Make Chocolate At Home?

Roast cacao beans or use cocoa powder and cocoa butter

Remove shells from roasted cacao beans if using beans

Grind the cacao nibs into a smooth paste

Melt cocoa butter gently

Mix cocoa paste or cocoa powder with melted cocoa butter

Add sugar to taste

Add milk powder if making milk chocolate

Add a pinch of salt if desired

Add vanilla extract if desired

Stir until smooth and fully combined

Pour the mixture into molds or a lined tray

Tap the molds to remove air bubbles

Refrigerate until firm

Remove from molds and store in a cool, dry place
