Make sure your number is not under any lock-in or pending dues
Send an SMS from your Vodafone number: PORT
You will receive a UPC code by SMS
Visit a Jio Store, Jio retailer, or Jio online porting page
Submit your UPC code, Vodafone number, and required ID proof
Choose a Jio prepaid or postpaid plan
Complete biometric verification if required
Insert the new Jio SIM after the porting request is approved
Wait for Vodafone service to stop and Jio service to activate
Keep your old SIM active until porting is completed
Porting usually completes within a few days
