Confirm you have enough miles for the specific redemption you want
Select the redemption type (award flight, upgrade, hotel/car/partner rewards, merchandise)
Search available award seats or partner availability on the airline/partner website or app
Check fare rules (capacity controls, blackout dates, change/cancel policies, fees)
Select seats and review the total cost in miles plus any taxes/fees or surcharges
Provide passenger details and confirm eligibility requirements (name matching, membership account status)
Apply any eligible promo codes or mileage offers, if available
Pay remaining balance using the allowed payment method (if required)
Complete booking and save the confirmation number and itinerary
Verify ticketing status and ticket number in your account or email confirmation
For upgrades or special requests, submit the request through “Manage Booking” or customer service
For partner redemptions, confirm transfer rules, availability, and whether miles must be transferred before booking
