How To Remove Coffee Stain From Carpet?

Blot immediately with a clean white cloth or paper towels; avoid rubbing

Sprinkle baking soda or cornstarch over the stain to absorb moisture; let sit 10–15 minutes

Vacuum the powder thoroughly

Mix 1 cup warm water with 1/4 teaspoon mild dish soap

Dampen a clean cloth with the solution and blot the stain from the outside toward the center

Blot with plain water on a separate cloth to rinse; blot until no soapy residue remains

Mix 1 cup warm water with 1 tablespoon white vinegar

Dampen a cloth with the vinegar solution and blot the stain again

Blot with plain water to rinse; blot dry with a towel

If a brown tint remains, mix 2 cups cool water with 1 tablespoon hydrogen peroxide (3%) and a few drops of dish soap

Test in an inconspicuous area first; then apply to the stain with a cloth and blot gently

Rinse with plain water and blot dry

If the carpet is still damp, place a dry towel on top and weigh it down; let dry completely

Vacuum again once fully dry
