Visit the Income Tax e-Filing portal
Go to the “Link Aadhaar” or “Link Aadhaar Status” option
Enter your PAN and Aadhaar number
Submit the details
Check the displayed status
Use the SMS service by sending your PAN and Aadhaar details to the prescribed number if available
Check for a confirmation message from the Income Tax Department
Contact the Income Tax e-Filing helpdesk if the status is not clear
