Turn on the Wii console.
Open the Wii Remote sync screen:
From the Wii Menu, press the A button on the Wii Remote to enter the Home Menu.
Select the Wii Settings icon.
Select Wii Remote Settings.
Select Sync.
Remove the battery cover from the Wii Remote.
Press and hold the Sync button inside the battery compartment.
While holding the Sync button, press the 1 and 2 buttons on the Wii Remote briefly.
Release the Sync button after the lights begin to flash.
Wait for the Wii Remote lights to stop flashing and show a solid light.
Repeat for additional Wii Remotes if needed.
