Open WhatsApp on your phone
Verify the same phone number used for the backup
Install WhatsApp on a new or reset phone if needed
Sign in to the same Google account that contains the backup
Make sure Google Play Services is installed and updated
Ensure the phone has enough storage space
Connect to a stable Wi-Fi network
Open WhatsApp and tap Agree and Continue
Enter your phone number
Wait for WhatsApp to detect the Google Drive backup
Tap Restore when prompted
Wait for the chats to restore
Tap Next after the restore is complete
Wait for media files to finish restoring
Open WhatsApp and check your restored chats
If no backup appears, confirm the correct Google account is added to the device
If needed, update WhatsApp and try again
