How To Braid Dutch?

Start with clean, dry hair; brush out tangles

Part hair into three sections at the top of your head (left, middle, right)

Cross the left section under the middle section

Cross the right section under the new middle section

Continue braiding by adding hair to each outer section before crossing under

Add a small section of hair to the left outer section, then cross it under the middle

Add a small section of hair to the right outer section, then cross it under the middle

Repeat: left under, right under, adding hair each time

Keep tension consistent and pull evenly

When you reach the nape (or run out of hair to add), braid the remaining three sections normally (under-under pattern)

Secure the end with an elastic band

Gently tug the braid edges outward for a fuller look, if desired

Optional: mist lightly with hairspray to help hold the style
