How To Change Wiper Blades?

Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield

Identify the wiper blade attachment type (hook, J-hook, pinch tab, bayonet, or top-lock)

For hook/J-hook blades: press the release tab and slide the blade off the hook

For pinch tab blades: squeeze the two release tabs on the blade and slide it off

For bayonet-style blades: lift the locking tab and rotate or pull the blade to release it

For top-lock blades: pull the blade’s locking tab up or press it to release, then slide the blade off

Note the blade length and orientation (driver/passenger side)

Align the new blade with the same attachment type and slide it into place until it clicks/locks

Fold the wiper arm back onto the windshield

Repeat for the other side

Test wipers on low speed to confirm proper fit and smooth operation
