Spot test a small hidden area for colorfastness
Brush off loose dirt and dust with a soft-bristle brush or clean dry cloth
Fill a sink or bowl with cool or lukewarm water
Add a small amount of mild detergent (or dish soap) to the water
For sweatbands and heavily soiled areas, mix a small amount of detergent with water to make a light paste
Gently scrub the sweatband and stained areas with a soft toothbrush or cloth
Submerge or dampen the cap as needed, avoiding soaking the entire cap if it has a structured form
Gently clean the fabric using circular motions without aggressive scrubbing
Rinse thoroughly with cool running water or clean water until no soap remains
Blot excess water with a clean towel
Reshape the cap to its original form
Air-dry completely on a cap form, bowl, or crumpled paper in a well-ventilated area
Keep away from direct sunlight and high heat
Do not machine wash or machine dry
Do not use bleach
Do not iron
For stubborn stains, pre-treat with a small amount of mild detergent and water, then gently scrub and rinse
For caps with embroidered logos, clean gently to avoid loosening threads
For caps with leather or suede elements, wipe with a barely damp cloth and spot clean only, then air-dry
