Power off your Mac and unplug all cables
Use a microfiber cloth only; wipe gently in straight lines
If needed, lightly dampen the microfiber cloth with water
For smudges or fingerprints, use a screen-safe cleaner on the cloth (not directly on the screen)
Use 70% isopropyl alcohol or a manufacturer-approved electronics screen cleaner applied to the cloth
Wipe gently with minimal pressure; avoid scrubbing
Dry with a clean, dry microfiber cloth if any moisture remains
Clean the frame and ports with a dry microfiber cloth
Let the screen fully dry before turning the Mac back on
Do not spray cleaner or water directly onto the screen
Do not use paper towels, tissues, or abrasive cloths
Do not use glass cleaner, window cleaner, ammonia, bleach, or hydrogen peroxide
Do not use excessive pressure
Do not let liquid get into vents, ports, or the keyboard area
