Remove items from the shower and rinse tiles with warm water to loosen surface grime
Mix warm water with a mild tile-safe cleaner (dish soap or pH-neutral cleaner)
Scrub tiles and grout with a soft-bristle brush or sponge, working in small sections
Rinse thoroughly with clean water
For soap scum/hard water: apply white vinegar (or a vinegar-water mix) to affected areas
Let sit 5–10 minutes, then scrub and rinse
For grout stains: apply baking soda paste (baking soda + a little water) to grout lines
Scrub grout with a grout brush, then rinse
For tougher mold/mildew on grout: apply a hydrogen peroxide solution, let sit 10–15 minutes, then scrub and rinse
Re-rinse all surfaces to remove any cleaner residue
Dry tiles with a squeegee or microfiber cloth to prevent water spots and buildup
Weekly: quick rinse and light scrub with a mild cleaner
Prevent buildup: use a daily water squeegee and keep the ventilation fan on during and after showers
