NEET Percentile = (Number of candidates scored less than you ÷ Total number of candidates appeared) × 100
NEET Percentile = [(Total candidates − Rank) ÷ Total candidates] × 100
If using NEET rank, lower rank means higher percentile
Percentile is not the same as percentage
Percentile shows your relative position among all test-takers
Example formula: If 10,00,000 candidates appeared and your rank is 50,000, then Percentile = [(10,00,000 − 50,000) ÷ 10,00,000] × 100
NEET percentile is usually calculated separately for each category and overall rank as per official results
The official NEET percentile is based on the score distribution of all candidates in that year
