Click anywhere in the section that has the section break you want to remove
Go to the Home tab
In the Paragraph group, click the Show/Hide ¶ button to display formatting marks
Locate the section break line (it will read something like “Section Break (Next Page)”, “Section Break (Continuous)”, or “Section Break (Even Page)”)
Place the cursor immediately before the section break text
Press Delete (or Backspace) to remove the section break
If you can’t select it, click once more near the break and try Delete again
Repeat for any additional section breaks you want to remove
Turn off formatting marks by clicking the Show/Hide ¶ button again
