Open the Instagram app or go to https://www.instagram.com/
Log in to the account you want to delete
Go to your profile
Open Settings
Tap or click Accounts Center
Tap or click Personal details
Tap or click Account ownership and control
Tap or click Deactivation or deletion
Select Delete account
Choose an option and confirm the request
Re-enter your password when prompted
Confirm permanent deletion
Keep in mind the account will be permanently deleted after the final confirmation step
