Open WhatsApp
Tap the three dots or Settings
Go to Chats
Tap Chat backup
Choose Back up to Google Drive or iCloud
Select the backup frequency
Choose the Google account or iCloud account
Tap Back Up
Wait for the backup to complete
Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi if needed
Ensure enough storage is available on your device and cloud account
