Open the Settings app
Tap FaceTime
Turn on FaceTime
Tap Photos
Turn on FaceTime Photos
Ensure the Apple ID signed in is the one you want to use
If prompted, allow Photos access
Check iCloud Photos is enabled if you want photos to sync across devices
On iPhone/iPad: Settings → Photos → iCloud Photos → On
On Mac: System Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Photos → On
