How To Remove Cells In Excel?

Select the cell or range of cells you want to remove

Right-click the selection

Click Delete

Choose Shift cells left, Shift cells up, Entire row, or Entire column

Click OK

Or select the cells and press Ctrl + –

Choose the delete option you want

Click OK

To remove only the contents, select the cells and press Delete

To remove cells from a table, select the cells and use the Delete command

To remove blank cells, use Find & Select, then Go To Special, then Blanks, then Delete
