Wash your hands
Remove the pad from its wrapper
Peel off the paper backing
Place the sticky side of the pad in the center of your underwear
Press it down firmly
Make sure the wider end is toward the back if the pad is shaped
Pull your underwear up and check that the pad feels secure
Change the pad every few hours or when it feels wet or full
Wrap used pads in toilet paper or the wrapper before throwing them away
Do not flush pads down the toilet
