Gather wrapping paper, scissors, tape, ribbon, and a gift tag
Place the gift in a box if needed
Measure and cut enough wrapping paper to cover the gift
Center the gift on the paper
Fold one side of the paper over the gift
Fold the opposite side over and tape the seam
Fold the ends neatly into triangles
Fold the top and bottom flaps inward
Tape the flaps securely
Add ribbon or a bow if desired
Attach a gift tag
Check that all edges are neat and secure
