How To Insert Rupee Symbol In Excel?

Select the cell or cells

Press Ctrl + 1

Go to the Number tab

Select Currency or Accounting

Choose the Rupee symbol from the Symbol drop-down

Click OK

Type `=UNICHAR(8377)` in a cell to insert the Rupee symbol directly

Copy and paste `₹` into the cell

Use `Alt + 8377` on the numeric keypad if supported

Change the font to one that supports the Rupee symbol if it does not display correctly
