Gather resin, hardener, mixing cups, stir sticks, gloves, mask, silicone mold or canvas, pigments, and heat source
Protect your workspace with plastic sheeting or a silicone mat
Read the manufacturer’s instructions for the resin-to-hardener ratio and curing time
Measure resin and hardener accurately
Pour both parts into a clean cup
Mix slowly and thoroughly for the recommended time
Add pigments, dyes, glitter, or other additives if desired
Prepare the surface or mold by cleaning and leveling it
Pour the mixed resin into the mold or onto the surface
Use a stir stick or tool to spread the resin evenly
Remove bubbles with a heat gun, torch, or by letting the resin sit briefly
Add layers, colors, or effects as desired before curing
Cover the piece to keep dust away while it cures
Let the resin cure for the full recommended time
Demold or handle the piece only after it is fully cured
Sand and polish edges if needed
Clean tools immediately after use according to the resin type
Dispose of leftover resin and materials safely according to local guidelines
