Wash the car with car-safe soap and clean water
Dry the surface completely with a microfiber towel

Spray the solution onto the affected area

Rinse the area with clean water
Dry again immediately
Use a clay bar if the spots remain
Apply a water spot remover made for cars
Polish the paint with a light automotive polish
Wax or seal the paint after cleaning
Use a glass cleaner for spots on windows
Avoid washing in direct sunlight
Dry the car after every wash to prevent new spots
