Open the App Store
Search for a VPN app
Download and install the VPN app
Open the VPN app
Sign in or create an account
Allow the app to add VPN configurations
Choose a server location
Tap connect
Confirm the VPN icon appears in the status bar
To use a manual VPN, open Settings
Tap General
Tap VPN & Device Management
Tap VPN
Tap Add VPN Configuration
Enter the VPN details from your provider
Tap Done
Turn the VPN on in Settings
