How To Turn Off OneDrive?

Right-click the OneDrive cloud icon in the taskbar

Select Settings

Go to the Account tab

Click Unlink this PC

Confirm the unlink action

Open Task Manager

Go to the Startup tab

Select Microsoft OneDrive

Click Disable

Open Settings

Go to Apps

Select Installed apps or Apps & features

Find Microsoft OneDrive

Click Uninstall

Confirm the uninstall action

Open Group Policy Editor

Go to Computer Configuration

Go to Administrative Templates

Go to Windows Components

Open OneDrive

Enable Prevent the usage of OneDrive for file storage

Restart the computer
