Open Facebook and go to your profile
Tap the three dots or menu icon
Select Settings and privacy
Tap Settings
Go to Privacy
Set Who can see your future posts to Friends or Only me
Set Who can see your friends list to Only me
Set Who can look you up using your email address to Friends or Only me
Set Who can look you up using your phone number to Friends or Only me
Turn off search engine linking to your profile
Go to Profile and tagging
Limit who can post on your profile
Limit who can see posts you’re tagged in
Review and remove public profile details
Change profile photo and cover photo visibility to Friends or Only me where available
Use the audience selector on each post to hide individual posts
Block specific people if needed
Deactivate your account if you want to make your profile unavailable temporarily
