Check the care label first
Set the iron to low or synthetic/polyester setting
Turn the garment inside out
Use a pressing cloth between the iron and fabric
Test on a small hidden area first
Iron while the fabric is slightly damp, or use a spray bottle lightly
Keep the iron moving; do not leave it in one spot
Avoid high heat and steam if the fabric is delicate
Hang the garment immediately after ironing
Let it cool completely before wearing or storing
