Visit the OCI Services portal on the Indian government website
Select the option to update or reissue OCI details due to new passport
Log in using your OCI registration details
Enter your new passport number and passport details
Upload a scanned copy of the new passport bio page
Upload a recent passport-size photograph if required
Fill in any required personal or contact details
Submit the online application
Note the acknowledgment or reference number
Print the completed application form and acknowledgment receipt
Sign the form where required
Attach supporting documents if asked by the portal or mission
Submit the application online or at the nearest Indian mission/FRRO if required
Track the application status using the reference number
Keep both old and new passport details available for verification
Update OCI details again whenever a new passport is issued in the future
