Locate the harness adjuster strap at the front of the car seat
Press the harness release button or lever
Pull the shoulder straps outward while holding the release button
If needed, lift the chest clip and unbuckle the harness first
Make sure the straps move freely and are not twisted
Reposition the child and re-buckle the harness snugly after loosening
If the straps do not loosen, check the manual for your specific Graco model
