Wash the car thoroughly
Dry the car completely
Inspect the paint for scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation
Tape off trim, rubber, and sensitive edges
Choose the correct polish and pad for the paint condition
Apply a small amount of polish to the pad
Work on one small section at a time
Spread the polish at low speed
Increase speed and polish with light to moderate pressure
Move the polisher slowly and evenly
Wipe off residue with a clean microfiber towel
Check the finish under good lighting
Repeat if needed on remaining sections
Apply wax or paint sealant after polishing
Clean pads and towels after use
