Download or create the skin file
Make sure the file is a PNG
Open the official Minecraft website
Sign in to your Minecraft account
Go to the profile or skin section
Select the option to upload a new skin
Choose the skin PNG file from your device
Select the correct model type if needed
Save or confirm the upload
Launch Minecraft and check your character
Open the Minecraft Launcher if using the launcher method
Go to the Skins tab
Click New Skin or Browse
Select the skin file
Name the skin
Save and apply the skin
Open the game to verify the skin is active
