Gather a small, tightly wound core such as a marble, golf ball, or crumpled paper ball
Choose a few small rubber bands to start
Wrap the first rubber band around the core in one direction
Add a second rubber band perpendicular to the first
Keep alternating directions as you add more rubber bands
Use smaller bands first to build a stable base
Stretch each band evenly so it sits snugly
Rotate the ball as you wrap to cover gaps
Add bands gradually until the core is fully covered
Continue building outward with larger bands as the ball grows
