Turn on the Xbox console
Turn on the controller
Press and hold the Xbox button on the controller
Press the Pair button on the Xbox console
Wait until the Xbox button on the controller stops flashing and stays lit
If using a USB cable, connect the controller to the console and press the Xbox button
If using Bluetooth on a supported device, put the controller in pairing mode and select it from the device’s Bluetooth menu
