Apply penetrating oil and let it soak
Tap the screw head lightly to help loosen rust
Use the correct screwdriver or bit with firm downward pressure
Try turning the screw counterclockwise slowly
Use a rubber band between the bit and stripped head for extra grip
Clamp the screw head with locking pliers if it is exposed
Cut a slot in the head with a rotary tool and use a flathead screwdriver
Use a screw extractor kit
Drill a small pilot hole in the center of the screw
Use a left-hand drill bit
Apply heat to the surrounding material if appropriate
Freeze the screw with compressed air if appropriate
Remove the surrounding part if needed for better access
Drill out the screw completely as a last resort
Re-tap the hole and install a replacement screw or insert
