Turn off the vape device
Remove the tank or pod if possible
Empty any remaining e-liquid
Remove the coil or pod
Discard the old coil or pod
Clean the tank, mouthpiece, and contact points with a dry cloth or cotton swab
Let all parts dry completely
Reassemble the device
Fill with fresh e-liquid if needed
Prime the coil if required
Turn the device back on
Set wattage or temperature to the lowest recommended level
Take a few short puffs to test
Adjust settings gradually if necessary
