Use a DHT-blocking VPN or enable VPN settings that block P2P traffic
Disable DHT in your BitTorrent client settings
Disable Peer Exchange (PEX) and Local Peer Discovery (LPD) in your torrent client
Use a torrent client that supports anonymous or private tracker mode
Connect only to private trackers that do not use DHT
Block DHT traffic at the firewall by denying UDP ports commonly used by BitTorrent clients
Block outbound and inbound UDP traffic for your torrent application
Use router-level firewall rules to block torrent-related UDP traffic
Use a network-wide DNS or firewall filter to restrict torrent peer discovery
Remove or uninstall torrent software if you do not need it
Verify DHT is disabled by checking your torrent client’s network or status settings
