Open the YouTube video
Click the three dots below the video or next to the title
Select Show transcript
If available, the transcript will appear on the right side or below the video
Click the three dots in the transcript panel to toggle timestamps if needed
Copy the transcript text manually
If Show transcript is not available, check whether captions are enabled on the video
Use YouTube Studio if you are the video owner to download captions
Use a third-party transcript tool if the video does not provide a transcript option
